Chemical Engineering

Riehl Engineering was founded on the discipline of Chemical Engineering. Our engineers are experienced in process design and control, unit operations, mass transport, and process health monitoring. We have specific expertise in multi-phase flow, flow assurance, heat exchanger design, equipment design, distillation (including reactive distillation), materials custody transfer, and process simulation.

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is a cornerstone engineering discipline. The Mechanical Engineering Business Group serves two industries - building and construction, and industrial and manufacturing. We can produce bid documents as well as provide high quality machine design and analysis. Our engineers are experienced in producing "PME" documents with an eye on overall cost savings. Our machine design engineers are expert in analysis and simulation of mechanisms as well as structures.

Electrical Engineering

The Electrical Engineering Business Group specializes in power distribution, switching stations, SCRs, and controls systems. We can produce construction documents for building and industrial clients, as well as perform studies ranging from power factor analysis to arc flash analysis.

Materials Engineering

Riehl Engineering offers expert materials engineering and consulting services. Our engineers can help you solve a difficult supply chain problem or provide suggestions on improving an existing part. We have extensive experience in corrosion control, thermoset and thermoplastic polymer formulation, high temperature materials, chemical sensor design, aluminum alloys, steel and stainless steel alloys, as well as refractory metals and materials.
